Electric cables exported to Australia from the People's Republic of China

Advance Cables Pty Ltd, Olex Australia Pty Ltd and Prysmian Power Cables & Systems Australia Pty Ltd (together "the ACM") have applied to Trade Measures Review Officer (TMRO) requesting a review of the decision made by the CEO on 6 February 2012 to terminate an investigation for electric cables exported to Australia from the People's Republic of China. The review, under section 269ZZT of the Customs Act 1901, by the Trade Measures Review Officer involves a decision to either affirm or revoke the decision based on the information that was before the CEO when the CEO made the reviewable decision.

Summary of Findings

The decision has been affirmed.  Notice of the decision was published in The Australian on 5 May 2012.
