Polyvinal Chloride Homopolymer Resin (PVC) exported from the Republic of Korea

LG Chem, Pty Ltd have applied to Trade Measures Review Officer (TMRO) requesting a review of the decision made by the Minister for Home Affairs on 19 October 2012 to publish a dumping duty notice for Polyvinal Chloride Homopolymer Resin (PVC) exported to Australia from the Republic of Korea (Report 187 refers). The review by the TMRO, under section 269ZZK of the Customs Act 1901, involves a decision to either recommend that the Minister affirm the reviewable decision or recommend that the Minister direct the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (CEO) to re-investigate certain findings that formed the basis of the reviewable decision, based on the information that was before the CEO when the Minister made the reviewable decision.

The decision to publish a dumping duty notice has been affirmed.
